Build & Ship Something Every Day

Hello & Happy New Year!

A friend of mine convinced me to start a January fitness challenge and something remarkable happened. By just committing to walk or run every day, I haven’t missed a day of exercise since January 1st after not working out much for the last six months. It turns out that even moving my body just a little every day has created the momentum to move a lot. This pattern reminds me of Jerry Seinfeld’s ‘Don’t Break The Chain’ strategy.

Now I’m curious! I want to try an experiment where I build or ship something new every day starting with this post.

When I look at Seth Godin, Julie Frederickson, and CovertGoBlue I see that even doing a little bit each day can add up to a lot over time.

Right now I’m just using AirTable to keep track of everything. I’m planning to use a combination of Airtable,, and my company Reciprocity as the medium. For days away from technology I’ll either plan for scheduled posts or do a few projects around the house.

I’m here for the process even if I have no idea what the outcome will be.
